Kobe is Kobe - Kobe Played with Clear Mask

Kobe Bryant persevered in playing in the All-Star game while he sustained a concussion in addition to a nasal fracture. He had 31 points, seven rebounds and eight assists, leading the Lakers to to a rout of the Minnesota Timberwolves on Wednesday. After the Lakers' 104-85 win, Kobe said frankly that wearing a mask was terrible, like having a sauna on his face and sweat pouring into his mouth; he no hard feelings toward Dwyane Wade who broke his nose and gave him a concussion with a hard foul in the All-Star game; he and Wade were good friends and he knew that Wade didn't mean to do it. Lakers coach Mike Brown said "Kobe is Kobe" and spoke of his superstar's competitive nature.

When the journalist asked Kobe in what if there was anything he would not play through, Kobe said in disgust, "Don’t jinx me, man." How long will Kobe Bryant have to wear the mask? Kobe said that he would keep wearing the mask until his nose is less tender.
